    Perrector brevilimbatus imature specimen.


    Restoration details: No reconstructions at all in this slab.

    Dimensions: Specimen: 1,0 x 0,8 cm; Matrix: 6,1 X 4,3 cm.

    Weight: ca. 20 g.

    Locality: Tazzemourt Section, Northen slope of the Western Anti-Atlas, Morocco.

    Taxonomy:

    Species: Perrector brevilimbatus (Hupé,1953); Family: Despuljosiidae; Order: Redlichiida; Class: Trilobita.

    Lithostratigraphy: Upper Amouslek Formation (Lower Cambrian, Stage 3).

    Biostratigraphy: Daguinaspis Zone of the Cambrian Souss Fossil Lagërstatte.

    Age: Cambrian, Early Paleozoic Era. 520-515 million years old.

    Collection: #CALPAIS 9246; Collected on March 2022.


    Description (main features):
    Digestive tract and content are preserved on the first five (5) anterior segments of the thorax.
    Eroded glabella showing the dorsal concave side of the rostral plate.
    All pleural spines are preserved, with exceptional preservation of those of the right lobe.
    Terrace lines on pleurae (especially on the right one - where we can clearly observe 5-6 ridges, subparallel to the border)
    Fully preserved pygidium plate.
