Spiny Ceratonurus sp. Perfect Fossil Trilobite. "Flying" Freestanding spines. Unique amazing specimen! Devonian. Oufaten. Morocco.

Restoration details: Residual - Half of both central pygidial spines and half of the right big cephalic spine have been reconstructed. They were missing as a result of extraction quarrying work and we decided to reconstruct them for aesthetic reason. This is a very natural situation, acceptable when in residual proportions, like in this magnificent specimen. It doesn't withdraw any value to it, as all the rest of it is natural and suffered no restoration.

Most of it, a plate like this one is a real once-in-a-life piece. A real museum specimen and plate.

    Dimensions: Specimen: 6,1 x 7,2 cm; Matrix: 12,6 x 10,5 cm.

Finding location: Oufaten, Anti-Atlas Mountains, Morocco.

    Species: Ceratonurus sp.
    Family: Odontopleuridae.
    Order: Odontopleurida.
    Class: Trilobita.

Geological Period: Devonian, from Paleozoic Era.
