    Rare and Unusual Freestanding Fossil Trilobite Akantharges mbareki. Devonian. Tinejdad. Morocco. A Must Have!

    Restoration details: No reconstruction, all natural.

    Presented is a very well prepared specimen from this rare and unusual species from Morocco. In fact, this is one of the rarest and difficult to get trilobites. A very detailed specimen, with all tubercules from the head, cephalic spines and pygidium displayed. A not to be missed one in any good collection.

    Tinejdad site is now with problems and closed. New specimens will be very difficult to get on next years.

    Dimensions: Specimen: 2,7 x 2,3 cm; Matrix: 9,9 x 7,8 cm.

    Finding location: Tinejdad, Anti-Atlas Mountains, Morocco.

    Species: Akantharges mbareki.
    Family: Lichidae.
    Order: Lichida.
    Class: Trilobita.

    Geological Period: Devonian, from Paleozoic Era.
